H.W. Fasteners Ltd (www.hwfasteners.com) – suppliers of industrial fastenings, power tools, accessories and work-wear to the building trade in the south-east and nationally have taken delivery of a two-site Elite Sage50 EPOS system for their Waterford and Wexford outlets. Having used Sage 50 Accounts software in their back-office for many years, H.W. Fasteners initially approached us looking for a modern, easy-to-use EPOS application that would enable them to use touch and barcode scanning to speedily and accurately process customer-facing sales transactions. The EPOS system was required to use the existing customer, special price and product records that were already set up in H.W.’s Sage50 system and to automatically create fully detailed sales orders and sales invoices in Sage50 from the POS thereby completely replacing their old manual docket book system of recording sales.
